This Privacy Policy explains how ALC Investments ("ALC Investments", "we", "us", "our"), operator of the I Wanna Scale brand and website at iwannascale.com ("the Site"), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using the Site or submitting an application through our lead form, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us

When you submit an application through the Apply form on the Site, we collect:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Business name
• Business website
• Current annual revenue (AUD)
• Desired annual revenue (AUD)
• Any other information you choose to provide when you contact us

1.2 Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our hosting provider may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• IP address and approximate location (country / region)
• Browser type, device type and operating system
• Referring URL, pages visited and time spent on the Site
• Standard server log data used for security, spam prevention and performance

2. How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to:

• Review your application and determine whether your business is a fit for the I Wanna Scale accelerator program
• Contact you by email, phone or SMS about your application and any follow-up conversations
• Provide the accelerator program, associated services and support if you are accepted
• Send you relevant program updates, invitations and marketing communications (you can opt out at any time)
• Maintain records, meet legal obligations, and improve our services and the Site
• Protect the Site from spam, fraud and abuse

3. How we store your information

Application data submitted through the Site is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship management (CRM) platform. HubSpot's data centres may be located outside Australia (including in the United States and the European Union). HubSpot maintains its own security and privacy standards — see HubSpot's privacy policy for details.

The Site itself is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process technical request data (such as IP addresses) in order to deliver and secure the Site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who help us operate our business (for example: HubSpot, Cloudflare, email delivery, and analytics providers), only to the extent needed to provide their service to us
• Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors when reasonably required
• Government, regulatory or law enforcement bodies where required by law
• A successor entity in the event of a sale, merger or restructure of our business

5. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, prevent spam submissions on the application form, and understand aggregate traffic patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings — blocking cookies may affect some Site features.

6. Marketing communications

If you submit an application, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone or SMS about your application and about the I Wanna Scale program. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, replying "STOP" to any SMS, or emailing us at the address in Section 10.

7. Data retention

We keep application data for as long as reasonably necessary to assess and respond to your application, deliver services to accepted applicants, meet legal or record-keeping obligations, and support legitimate business purposes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

8. Your rights

Under Australian privacy law you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete
• Request deletion of your information, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• Make a privacy complaint (see Section 9)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at the email in Section 10 and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
